Dream

I realised that a good dream the night before can be one of the worse start to the day.

Especially when the dream is so good that you are actually smiling in your sleep.

The alarm just have to start ringing at a totally wrong time.

You wake up, rub your eyes a couple of times and suddenly you realise you are back to the cold hard reality. The mood of your morning has just been completely ruined.

No matter how nice, how sweet, how too good to be true the dream is, it is still but a dream.

One more month to enlistment. Great.

Monday Blues

Having a sore throat is bad enough, and a blocked nose and the fact that its a monday only make things worse.

So now im all alone at home with nothing better to do. Work suddenly seems like a fun thing to do.

Recently i got 2 old mandarin songs stuck in my head for no reason. I havent heard them in a long long long time and its like i suddenly feel like humming out the tunes. Decided to check them up on youtube and here they are. Both are by 邰正宵, another one of those singers that looks the same now as they were 10 yrs ago.

Argh fug somehow i cant copy the embed code of the video. Stupid monday, nothing is going right.

For some unknown reason i kept writing date for this month as 08/09 instead of 09/08 (MM/YY format)

Maybe its my subconcious reluctance to move on to Sept and wanna stay in August.

Or maybe its the other way round, I hope the time move faster so that its already 2009.

Or maybe im thinking too much, its just an honest mistake, lets move on =\

But for now i hope time can go slower, so i can have more time to think about whats next... not that i have many options though :(

The Year in Singapore in Cartoon

Bought the comic book for $9 bucks when Iskandar, the cartoonist, came over to sell it at a mini mooncake fair at my work place. Intended to get some snow skin mooncakes from Marriot Hotel but the freezer in the office was already full of mooncakes the other staffs bought :(

I bought the book cuz he said my hair looks cool i think the cartoons are pretty cute and funny yet true to the various issues our country faced.

4Bia

Whats better than watching a horror movie alone on a cold and rainy tuesday evening? Nothing! Thats why i took the train down to tampines and caught the thai horror movie 4Bia.

Been quite some time since i last watched a horror flick, so its quite refreshing.
The movie is divided into 4 short stories; Happiness, Tit for Tad, In the Middle and Last Fright, half an hr each .Overall its not as scary as some people say(maybe cuz i got a high threshold for horror stuff), but still good nonetheless. My favorite will go In the Middle, cuz its sorta like a mixture of horror and comedy while kinda spoofing movie like the sixth sense.
I'll give this movie a 3.5/5

Noob GP at Lifeline Clinic spotted

The GP of the Lifeline Clinic at Rivervale Plaza is a noob! (and my parent got problem determining the gender too until they saw the name tag saying Mr)

This is how the noob GP bandaged my bro's wound -.- so sloppy. The bandages isnt even taped properly and they charged $45 for it damn them. Im not gonna go any Lifeline Clinic from today onwards.

Comex :(

Armed with an OCBC visa, nets, and some cash, i went to Comex 2008 at suntec convention center after work looking to spend some moolah on a speaker with ipod dock and maybe an earphone.

Walk around for an hour or so, saw some familiar faces, but only bought a notebook cooling pad for 18bucks :( Couldnt bear to take that visa of mine and swipe it for the Altec Lansing Inmotion ipod dock :(

I realised i've changed. Dont know since when i start to think twice about spending money =\

I also look at things differently now, tend to think more than last time, look at things from different angles.

Can i not grow up? :(

And its bad having 2 patients at home, one cant exert himself, have to go for radiation den chemo and one cant even walk and have to go for physio :(

and the other falling sick and getting easily irritated cuz have to take care of both doesnt rrly help

Work is boring FUN

Things get pretty boring at work everyday sometimes, and to prevent me from falling asleep, i've to find things to do.

Taking photos of any and everything with my Viewty is one way

Playing with paper clips is also very useful
