Twilight Boxset + Curious Tale of Benjamin Button

The Twilight boxset i ordered from Amazon.com came a few days back. It looks so nice that i just left it there without opening the plastic wrapping. Pictures (taken with a lousy phone came)





Didnt upload the rest of the pics cuz they are so badly taken, not enuf lighting and focus and stuff like that. and yes i blame them all on the lousy phone cam, theres nth wrong with my photography skills.

I also caught Curious Tale of Benjamin Button. Great movie, worth 4.5/5 stars. A must watch imo. It looks at life from a different perspective, but makes u realise that life is just a full circle, in the end we'll all end up in diapers. We're just taking the different route to the same finishing point. The movie is almost 3 hours long btw, and i didnt know that in the 1st place :/ had to rush back to family dinner after that.

CNY is just round the corner, which means, half day this coming friday and public holidays next monday and tuesday! Off days FTW! and of cuz, cny shopping. Heres my little contribution to the economy lol

Nostalgia. Procrastinate

omg omg omg i just caught 黑糖玛琪朵 on tv! yes they are showing it on SCV channel 46 at 9pm everyday. <3 鬼鬼 <3丫头

Watching it feels so nostalgic lol, although it just like 2 years back. So many things have changed since then, army and all. Dont u just wish to turn back time sometimes.

Dont get me wrong im not unhappy about how things are now, just that those were the more carefree days, dont have to worry about much but getting the diploma.

Not that i have lots of things to worry about now, but definitely more things then that time. Yes you can say i have a roof over my head and my basic needs all taken care off so theres nth critical for me to worry about. But sometimes thats where the whole problem lies.

Oh well. Everything will be better once i stop procrastinating every now and then and put things into action. Once i stop procrastinating... once is stop procrastinating.... once i stop procrastinating...

Watching people do stupid dares (read: soogie pole dancing with a lamp post in front of a group of strangers). Cool

Watching Red Cliff 2 at Grand Cathay(takeshi kaneshiro FTW). Cool

Eating decent steak for both lunch and dinner. Cool

I guess life really isnt fair eh, i've got 4 fucky things and yet only 3 cool things.

Mugging for NS is really damn wrong. Conscription itself is damned in the 1st place.

Its the new year, 2009, and whats a better way to start the new year other than, yes u guess it, a post on New Year Resolutions!

1. Lose weight. I know this has been on the list of like the past 5 or more years but, this is the year when it will really happen!... er, at least i hope so =\

2. Get my driving license. In fact, im going down to kovan to do my registration and everything this friday or saturday.

3. Save up and stop spending on unnecessary stuff. But then again, i have a loose definition of whats necessary and whats not :P

4. Get through NS without any SOL, DB or even signing extras.

Lets hope i achieve all 4 of my resolutions this year. My dear readers, yes u, the one reading my blog, my dear, can do a part in helping me achieve them too. Remind me of them whenever you see me and scold/slap/kick/punch me if i fail to do so (no guarantee i wont retal though lol)

Sprained my right ankle again, as usual due to bball. Bleh

Its always like that, decide to be enthu abit and run more than i usually do i'll get injuries somewhere. DAMN!

And the worst is i cant even report sick/take MC cuz im on course and theres like a test every other day. and its troublesome cuz my camp has got no MO, have to go to Maju Camp to see the MO. DAMN!

Yes Man is not a bad movie btw, gets a bit boring later into the movie but funny movie nonetheless. One good thing about this comedy is that it doesnt derives its humour from just sexual innuendos, heck it doesnt even use it in this movie, which is good cuz crude sexual humour gets real boring real soon.

Yes Man > Dont mess with the Zohan.

My camp is like surrounded by trees in the middle of bukit timah nature reserves and the these few days it keeps drizzling it kinda feels like Forks :P

Oh yes, Twilight is a great show, probably one of the best I've seen this year. I'll rank it on the top of my list along with The Dark Knight. The movie has a great flow with not a single dull moment. Im gonna read Twilight the book I borrowed from soogie later on. Hes so addicted to it hes gonna get all the 4 books, which means im gonna borrow all 4 from him :D

On the other hand, The day the earth stood still is a very disappointing movie. I'll give it like 2/5 stars only cuz Keanu Reeves is the lead actor. Why did he have to take up such a bad movie. Damn.

Btw, Da Mouth 大嘴巴 released a new album Da Playa 王元口力口, support them please cause they are awesome!
